Sumit is a visual artist working in 3D animation, graffiti art and at the cutting edge of technological production techniques. Sumit lead one of laboratory workshops at the start of the UK residency and introduced the Under25Routes group to digital animation techniques to help them bring the digital world into the performance work.

When asked about European cultural exchanges Sumit said: “European and international exchanges are important. I have had a few projects over the years that have involved European and international collaboration. It’s just an interesting way of working with different people. I remember this from my foundation year at my college of art. It was my favourite year of education, possibly artistically. It was a very international course. Almost everyone of my friends was from a different part of the world. And their influences and approaches to work was very inspiring.”
